What is the Regents' Matrix? Is it available on the web?
The State Regents’ Matrix effort began in 1996 with a plan known as a Course Equivalency Project. This plan has been implemented to improve student transfer among state colleges in Oklahoma through the development of a system-wide electronic course transfer guide. The CEP operates on a yearly cycle. Each spring, the State Regents’ web site for course equivalencies is updated to include the latest equivalency information. The equivalency information is accessible online.

The institution I am attending/plan to attend does not have a Transfer Guide; does that mean my credits will not transfer to OSU?
If there is not a Transfer Guide for the institution you are currently attending or plan to attend that does not mean your credits will not transfer. We provide guides for all Oklahoma two-year institutions, some out-of-state two-year institutions and some international institutions. We do not provide guides for four-year US institutions. Some of the course numbers I am looking for do not appear in the on-line guide for my school. Does this mean these courses will not transfer?
All college-level courses will transfer to OSU. We have chosen to list only those courses that match an OSU course. Any course you do not find listed in the guide in which you are interested, so long as it is a college-level course and is not a PE/Activity type course, will transfer as an 'elective'. An advisor will determine whether or not such a course can be used in your particular program/major.
Once my credits have been officially evaluated, where can I view the evaluation?
Once you have been admitted to the university, an official evaluation will be completed and posted to your Student Information System (SIS) record. You will need to log in with your O-key account information and follow these directions.
Once I have been accepted, what do I do next?
Review the transfer student checklist. and view our Next Steps Guide.
