Admission Requirements
Admission requirements can vary from year to year. Undergraduate admission is based on your previous educational background. An applicant is classified into one of the following categories based on his/her previous educational experience. These categories determine what requirements you must meet for admission to Oklahoma State University. The links will take you directly to the requirements for that category.
International
- Freshman - Applicant has not completed any, or has completed six or fewer semester hours, at a post-secondary level institution in which OSU accepts transfer credit.
- Transfer - Applicant has completed seven or more semester hours of credit at a post-secondary level institution in which OSU accepts transfer credit.
- Readmission - Applicant has attended classes at OSU and there is a semester break (fall or spring semester) in enrollment.
- Either the TOEFL or IELTS test is required of all students whose native language is not English.
- If the SAT or ACT examination is given in your country, you should make the appropriate arrangements to take the exam and have your scores submitted to Oklahoma State University. The International SAT registration booklet lists current testing locations for the 2007-2008 school year.
