  85

• What is the one piece of advice that you would give a freshman?

  Don’t get overcome by social aspects your first semester. You don't want to get behind on your academics, or it can really have an effect later. Establish good study/work habits first.

• What was your favorite class during college?

  Popular Culture, Consumption and Material Culture, and Consumer Behavior were all my favorites in their own way.

• What is your favorite OSU tradition?

  Everything about Homecoming. There is a lot of tradition that stands out during this time and having so many alumni come back and share those traditions is really outstanding.

• How did you know that you had found the right major?

  One of the first classes you take as a Management major is MGMT 101 which teaches you and lets you experience all aspects of what it takes to run a business and it was something that I really enjoyed.

• What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

  Room décor to make your living space comfortable.

• What would you do differently if you could start over as a freshman?

  Get involved in many more student activities and clubs.

• What is the one place that people should be sure to visit on the OSU campus?

  The Colvin Recreation Center.

• What percentage of your wardrobe is orange?

  I can wear something orange every day for about two weeks so far and it is growing very quickly!

• What do you think is the secret to a good freshman GPA?

  Good study habits and finding out which way of studying works best for you. Don't wait till the last minute, there's often information that is not in your notes on exams, and you need time to look over everything. Also, ask questions or for help if you need it.

• What quote would you say that you live by?

  A smile happens in a flash, but its memory can last a lifetime.
