  • Why did you choose OSU?

I received a music scholarship and wanted to sing with the OSU Chamber Choir.

  • What is your favorite memory of your college experience?

I loved being a part of the various music ensembles and also enjoyed being active within the Spanish Department as well.

  • What is the one piece of advice that you would give a freshman?

Begin studying hard your very first semester. You will thank yourself when you are a senior and your GPA has not suffered.

  • What was your favorite class at OSU?

    Latin American History.

  • What is your favorite OSU tradition?

Everything we chant during Cowboy basketball.

  • What is the one thing that every new student should bring to campus?

    An umbrella.

    The Vivia Locke theatre.

  • What are some tips that you could give to new freshman about getting involved?

Don't hesitate to become involved in organizations during your very first semester. There are hundreds to choose from, and they can really help you become more acclimated to university life.

  • What do you think is the secret to a good freshman GPA?

Studying consistently and not cramming the night before an exam.

  • Who was the one person at OSU that influenced you the most?

It's a tie between Dr. Lynne Echegaray in the Spanish Department and Dr. Michael M. Smith in the History Department.
