When to Apply

The Student Union viewed from WhitehurstHigh school students may begin the application process at Oklahoma State University with their official six-semester transcript beginning July 1.

We encourage fall-entering students to complete their application before the November 1 Early Opportunity Scholarship Deadline to receive scholarships and/or financial aid as early as possible. Students must complete their application by the February 1 Priority Scholarship Deadline to be guaranteed full scholarship consideration, and July 1 for final consideration. Priority scholarship consideration for students who plan to enroll in the spring is October 15, and final scholarship consideration is the Friday before the first day of spring classes begin at OSU.

A complete application file must be submitted by the appropriate deadline to ensure students are considered for all applicable scholarships. This includes a completed application, the $40 non-refundable application fee, an official high school transcript (reflecting unweighted GPA and class rank if available) and official ACT or SAT scores.

We encourage all students to complete the application process as early as possible to help ensure a smooth transition to college. Applying early gives you better housing options. It also helps ensure you are considered for all applicable scholarships and financial aid options.
