The Honors College

Old Central

Housed in historic Old Central, The Honors College at Oklahoma State University allows students to challenge themselves academically.

Students in The Honors College experience small, discussion-based classes taught by top faculty members. They also receive specialized advising and opportunities for freshman research. Honors students enjoy extended library check-out privileges, a private computer lab in Old Central and priority enrollment. Honors students can also live in Stout Hall, although space is limited.

Students with a composite ACT score of 27 or higher with a (weighted or unweighted) grade-point average of 3.75 or higher normally are eligible for the Honors College. A 50-word essay is also required as part of the application process. After February 1, admission is on a space-available basis.
